Oh GG I am so sorry to hear of Jazzy passing. I know it was her time. This has been a very hard time for you. My heart breaks for your loss.

Thanks everyone.

I had scheduled to take her to the vet tomorrow to be put to rest. But she obviously wanted to make her final journey from home. I am just glad that I heard her and was able to hold her for her final moments. My heart is aching but I hope she was able to feel my love.

These past 3 weeks have been really hard on my heart. But I thank each and every one of you for supporting me throughout. I appreciate it more than words can say, really.

I will do a proper memorial for Jasmine tomorrow. For now, I am going to try and get some sleep... Something I have been severely lacking the last few nights.

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

Hi GG - it must be a tremendous comfort that little Jazz fought for so long and chose to cross the bridge in your arms. This was her way of telling you she is and will always be your little baby and wait for you at the bridge along with Cheeto and other little ones when it is your time. Losing each little baby is hard, and your grief is raw now. But remember we are all here with you feeling your pain, hoping you find comfort in knowing that you gave this beautiful little girl all the love she deserved and that she loved you back. Take care GG - run free my little friend Jasmine, whom I have come to know - you fought hard baby, but now free of pain and strife. Send mummy a beautiful rainbow or a butterfly. xxxxxx
