Default Overexcited?

I was watching Pippin as he came out earlier this evening, and he looked a little bit more raggedy than usual (he can sometimes look a bit greasy - he never uses the sandbath). I got him out to have a check over, and found a patch of his fur on one flank quite matted down. At first I thought it might be a scab a few days old, but then it didn't really look like that, I'm thinking maybe Merry might have got a bit, erm, over-friendly with his brother? Has this happened with other male pairs anyone has kept? There was what looked like a tiny cut/graze on his foot too, but that might have been staining as they had red pepper last night!

Pip also seems a bit thinner than he used to be (unfortunately my digital kitchen scales are broken and you can't weigh robos on anything else!) I'm going to feed more protein and pop some probiotic in the water to see if that helps. Pip was always the skinnier of the two, when Merry was in the wars and I put probiotic in the water Pippin suddenly filled out.

If anyone has any other ideas (or friendly *wink wink* male pairs too) I'd love to hear!
