Re: Indyman tumour?
Must be quite hard for you, as it would anyone. I know I was worried sick about Chewy and was checking his cage every 5 minutes, and was always relieved he was still breathing. Come on Indy, old boy, I was really looking forward to meeting you, at last, you bugger! <3

Re: Indyman tumour?
He could be arthritic in one hip making him move in an odd manner AI. He looks sprightly enough even with his wobble. There is a hint of bulging on one side though so he could have something swollen inside or be retaining fluid. This is not unusual at his age. He is still very handsome and adorable xx
Would he like a rosette for being gorgeous? I don't think I'd risk stressing him at a show in all honesty xx

Re: Indyman tumour?
I did try give him a "hammy massage" and he didn't wince at all..is there anything a vet could give or just leave him be? I read in hamsterlopedia (loving it!) to give more milky mushy foods..suggestions?
Like i said its almost ping pong ball like his bulge so i think there is something going on there.
I wasn't thinking about the show really though he is always so chilled at them, he deffinately deserves a rosette for being amazing...he will still fall asleep on me when i am in crohns pain, i think because i got him when i was bed bound and had him on my bed literally all teh time he got used to just sitting still on me...why it is so hard to watch him slowing down, hes been such a little rock to me

Re: Indyman tumour?
I gave The Cloud half a cube a day, obviously he was a robo though so much more tiddly. I just let him eat whatever he wanted, he would leave the rest and I'd remove it in the morning.
It is so sad watching them struggle, wishing you and Indyman loads of good vibes, I still had The Cloud a fair while when he was acting pretty much the same way, so fingers crossed lovely Indy follows the same path
