I think you are right about the weigh thing. He can still move and he's active and he runs pretty fast, so I guess he's fine.
Of course. He's a family member and I love him and despite what many Google results might say, I'm pretty sure he's attached to me as well and now that I think about it, he's probably better off with me than some small children. I want him to be happy. He's sometimes chirping, but I don't think it's negative. He does it when he's asleep. Once I woke him up to see if everything's alright, but he was staring at me with his sleepy eyes, so I'm not waking him up anymore.
