Hammiversary!!!

Hello everyone, thought it was a good time to starta thread for my darling Humphrey because yesterday was the anniversary of me getting him! I've had him for one year and it's been great. My lovely hamster is an adorable and tame little chap. I got him from pets at home and he lives in a hamster heaven cage attached to a spelos. He recently got a huge new wheel that is about twice the length of him, I believe it is a wodent one. He's had a feast of strawberry and green bean. He's the best hamster I could ask for. If he doesn't want to be picked up, he'll push your hand away with his cute little paws. I have never bred from Humphrey though I'm sure if I had, his offspring would be gorgeous due to Humphreys lovely temperament- he's active, curious, inquisitive and yet calm.

Humphrey is creamy white with pink nose and feet, and grey ears. His fur is short but I swear it's made of velvet silk. He's very fit, and I don't think he's under or over weight, he's fed on Burgess and Harry hamster.

I will update about what he thinks of his little feast, and will be using this thread for most things concerning Humphrey, I hope to add photos.

Ah I’ve missed seeing you around the forum lately. Glad to see Humphrey now has his own thread! I’m no expert on coat colours but he looks like either a black eyed white or black eyed ivory. Probably ivory, as you sa he is creamy white. I do love that picture of him gleefuly tucking into his banana chip

P.S. ugh yes photobucket is being dreadful currently for me too. Can’t wait for more pictures!

Thin lizzy, I did wait a while to start a thread didn't I I wasn't sure what to make it about and the hammiversary seemed a good time. Some hams don't even live that long, though hopefully Humphrey will live over the expectancy....
