Re: Yummy and Bin cages
Yummy might have a polyp but the vet couldn't see anything, suggested I check her butt every day and take a picture if it happens again. If its a polyp there's nothing to be done about it, as her age prevents it being operated on unless its damaged. She's really not feeling well as her ears are back all the time, without any signs of illness or symptoms they can't do anything.

Re: Yummy and Bin cages
Sorry she's not feeling well, can I ask if you went to an exotic vet or a specialist vet for hamsters?
That's too bad there isn't anything they can do for Yummy

Re: Yummy and Bin cages
Not the Yumster filling under the weather. I would think if it is a Polyp you would be able to offer her food which will naturally soften her stool to make it easier for her to pass a dropping. A tiny bit of Olive oil(just a small drop in her mouth or on something she loves to eat would do this, but may want to enquire of your Vet to be sure it won't do harm to her.

Nearest vet that might be any help is an hour away, its constantly busy there with lots of traffic. My partner hates driving there and it stresses him out too much. The vet I go to normally has been very good with my hamsters, specially Yummy as they spayed her.
