Hamsters and hair!
I've just had Ethel out and he was crawling on me like usual, but then he decided to crawl ontop of my head and sit there for a while haha then I think he tried to burrow in my hair haha! I leaned forward and put my hand out so he could crawl off my head but he got a little tangled in my hair..I thought this would put him off, but then he climbed straight back up to my head and started nuzzling under my hair! It was so cute, he's never done this before! Anyone elses hamster seem a little obsessed with their hair?!

Re: Hamsters and hair!
lol! That sounds like fun! My hair is really short so no tangled hams but Zephyr does like to sit at the back of my neck & pull it!

Yes, Bobba likes to climb on my head and burrow in my hair. She also likes to nibble it, which I'm not so keen on

Re: Hamsters and hair!
My hamsters do that, too.. But not on top of my head.. I have long hair. When I have my hams snuggled up close to me, my hair falls on them. They crawl underneath my hair, and seems that they end up under my hair, by my neck. Lol
Must feel safe for them, and maybe they think my hair is long vines or grass.. Lol.

Re: Hamsters and hair!
I have long hair too, usually tied back when I'm with the hamsters though which I guess isn't as good for burrowing . I just realised I used a different shampoo which smells of strawberries, maybe that was what he liked!

Aha. I've not had that. I don't think I trust Rue enough just yet to let her on my head. Though she has tried nibbling my hair. Perhaps she's in agreement with my mum that I need a trim. Lol.

Re: Hamsters and hair!
