Re: new toys and treats from the hollybush
Candice, I love the bright colours!
I'm easily distracted especially when it's anything to do with hamsters!
But, I've been looking at the fish in P@H quite a bit in my last couple of visits.

Ooh - that sounds like hard work TL! Fish! Aquariums look very complicated to me. I just had to google it too - is it the big garden centre near Birmingham?

Thankyou! I love everything to be bright and colorful and stand out in the hamsters cages!
We have 4 fish in a tank, however I think hamsters are better as you can't really interact with fish or play with them or give them love and cuddles, that's what I like to do with hamsters!

The hollybush I go to is around lichfield and shenstone area I think anyway, fish are harder than you think to care for really, you think just food daily is easy but when it comes to cleaning them out, that's when you realise its harder work than you think. Chasing fish round a tank is annoying and boring! And when you have 2 of them sucker fish things then that makes it 10 times harder for you!! When they just point blank refuse to let you take them out if the tank!!

I'm guessing there's not one of these shops in Scotland!

Re: new toys and treats from the hollybush
Serendipity - I used to have fish some years back! The ones in P@H are sooo nice, and I'm thinking about it, getting fish again. Unfortunately, I know longer have my tank. My local pet shop had some beautiful goldfish when I went by earlier today.
Candice - It would be weird if you could take fish out and cuddle them lol! But, they're fascinating to watch!

Re: new toys and treats from the hollybush
Story of my life! It is far too tempting to buy pets. I'm more likely to treat them than myself!

Re: new toys and treats from the hollybush
I agree I treat my hamsters and pets so much more than I do to myself, I love hamsters and pets, we have:
4 fish
3 hamsters (fudge, cookie and snowy or 4 counting harry who died recently)
A dog (basset hound named Bertie)
A chinchilla (chester, had him for a week yesterday)
A rabbit ( tommy)
Lol few to many pets ..... Or maybe a few more would me okay lol
