Re: Spike, The Radiator Siege & Other Adventures
Of course Spike's unpacked lol! So glad he's settled, good on your hubby giving him playtime while you were asleep.
I'm not surprised the fish survived the 4 months, plenty of stuff to survive on. Weird how the previous owners didn't come back for her once they realised she was missing.
I had a hamster several years back called Xena.
You might end up adding to the pond.

Re: Spike, The Radiator Siege & Other Adventures
Congratulations on everyone handling the move well. Spike must be so happy with all that space to run around in. One question though...any radiators that he can try to get behind?
A good friend of mine has a lovely pond with with loads of fish in it. They survive through the winters each year, which amazes me.

Re: Spike, The Radiator Siege & Other Adventures
Detolf coming today!!!
I know I've been really quiet recently, ever since the move, but between trying to sort out the new house and both Hubby and myself working overtime on top of everything else I just haven't had the time. Still, I couldn't rersist popping on quickly this morning to metaphorically jump up and down in excitement!

Re: Spike, The Radiator Siege & Other Adventures
Unpacking is the worst. I just unpacked the important stuff.
I'm looking forward to updates and pics of Spike's new home once it's finished.

Re: Spike, The Radiator Siege & Other Adventures
I have taken loads of new videos but at the moment I am having some issues with my new computer . So I thought I would post one of his videos from just before the move
Hubby had dismantled his wooden martial arts dummy and put the pieces in the bedroom. Spike of course thought it was put there as his new climbing toy! The video ends abruptly as he gets too high up and I was worried he was going to jump (he's done sillier things). He was very determined to get up there though, I thought he was slowing down a bit now that he's getting older but he has certainly proven to me in the last 2 weeks that he's still got it
I claim this mountain in the name of King Spike!
