My hams are in the living room. In our house, there is the living room and kitchen down stairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Smallish house, but good size rooms.

She just said ok. lol. She cant say no really because I am the one who feeds them, holds them, cleans them and I clean and feed her rabbit. lol.

Ok, I love my hamsters - well, I love one of them... I'm getting to know one of them and I'm in a complicated relationship with the dwarf. But wow. That is dedication. I was just wondering a few weeks ago how you can take care of multiple Syrians at the same time unless you have someone who also loves them to help out. Luckily I have older 'kids' who do play time with them and the maintenance on three isn't so bad. I just had a dizzy minute when I saw one on the wheel, one sitting on his house waiting to come out and TeeTee plopped on her ramp like, "I was here first, you know."

I'm sorely missing the hamster room as it's still occupied by guests but that will change soon. I mean everyone else calls it the guest room but what do they know, right. mwhhahahahahaha Ours are in my younger son's room right now but they don't keep him awake. They're on the same schedule - he's a teenager on summer break.

My youngish kids help out with cleaning & playtime.
My mum is around a lot and she helps with play, taming and cuddles.

I do ok with them all
I have little time for other things mind you but I do ok

I am in the process of trying to convince my husband to turning our spare bedroom into a hamster & guinea pig room. Negotiations are not quite in my favor, though he loved watching two guinea pigs run around their cage the other day at the pet store. I bought Mylo a noisier wheel so maybe the switch could occur. Muahhaha!

Luckily for me the SO doesn't mind the hamsters he's just concerned I'm compromising space to house them.
He doesn't seem to realise they're bins are stacked and technically only take up 2 bins worth of space on the floor if I have 2 stacks of bins xD

I'll win him round in the end
