My dad has thrown up a quick temporary cage. which is half of his new cage, cos he most definatley needs it.

What I did for Mischief's cage (which worked for me) was put nuts and bolts actually through the hole with the largest washers I could find covering the hole on both sides, if that makes any sense
It blocked the hole off completely- I don't know whether that would work for you at all. x
