Re: The strangest thing has happened :-(
Aww suga sorry she has not showed up yet. You must be beside yourself. What about inside cushions? If she escaped in our house she would have so many places to hide in the mess and muddle! We are very untidy Have you checked your bags of food and sawdust etc? Cornflakes boxes anything? If none of the food is touched is is unlikely she is in those rooms. Try putting food in the garage and have a good search upstairs. Even the outside bins are worth a check in case she has been in a bag or something your threw out. Oh Fuzzee please come home to mum.

Re: The strangest thing has happened :-(
I have just been home at lunch time to check the bins outside and have emptied it into another bin. She's not there. I'm going to put more food out tonight and I am going to search everywhere again downstairs and then upstairs. I've checked the drain grills around the house and she's not outside. There are no signs of her anywhere - not a dropping to be seen .
Come home little lady please.

Just a thought suga. Have you checked the other hamsters cages? I can't stop worrying about her and you must be frantic. Hugs to you

Re: The strangest thing has happened :-(
Souffle I have now - she is definitely not holidaying at Lilbears place or Conker's old cage. She hasn't come back to her own either and I have just racked through it again and she must have been gone for at least 2-3 days as there is very little droppings in there. I have got water and food there for when she gets back. .

Re: The strangest thing has happened :-(
Oh my goodness, it goes without saying but I hope she comes back soon!
I use to have a hamster who use to always escape and end up in either my bedroom or our shop (stealing dog biscuits and sweets) and another that would escape and turn up in the same pan in the same cupboard every time.
I've got my fingers crossed for you!xx

Re: The strangest thing has happened :-(
Hi Suga,
i am really sorry to hear about your lost hammy
you might already know this, but it is a good idea to make a note of how much food is in each room, e.g. putting a pile of 10 sunflower seeds in each room, shut all the doors and then leave it overnight - that way, if she is in any of the rooms you will be able to tell which one if she takes some of the food.
At least you can then contain your search to only one room.
Hope this helps, and i hope you find her very soon.
