Just brought some new goodies online!

So it was payday today, and as I have done quite a lot of overtime recently I thought I would treat the hammies to some new goodies, especially Phoebe who's cage is looking a little bare.

All in all I spent £40 - but I think that's actually a pretty good amount when you look at how much I brought! I managed to get:

1 X Wodent Wheel (Light Blue & White for Phoebe)
1 X Pack of 3 fruit 'n' nut (the wooden squares with nuts in the middle)
1 X Hamster Rollinis
1 x Safe Bed White Bedding (the soft white paper flakes)
1 X Rosewood Boredom Breaker Trio of Fun Balls
1 X Boredom Breaker Himalayan Salt Lick Stone (Bolt uses his so thought would try one with Phoebe too)
1 X Boredom Breaker Rodent Roller
1 X Boredom Breaker Nature's Salad

and I also got these 3 foods to mix together to make the hammies mix:

1 X Supreme Science Selective Hamster Food
1 X Burgess Supahamster Food
1 X Mr Johnsons Supreme Hamster & Gerbil Mix


So yeah, I don't think I did too badly, that £40 looks like it's gone a good way

Also, about the food - I've not been happy with the harry hamster, and there is a lot of waste from all the hammies with it, so wanted a change. I like to make sure there are some form of complete nuggets (either supreme or PAH) in the mix so I know they are getting all they need at least, even if they just pick at the food.

Has anyone else got anything good for their hammies recently?

I bought Elmo some of that paper flakes bedding
a big tube he can chew (he's already been in and out several times lol)
and some little chewy treats

Lucky them! I actually managed to get some great bits and pieces in Wilkinsons yesterday. I also have those cubes with the nut in the middle, he loved it for about 5 minutes then got bored so I've taken it out now but I know he'll love it again for 5 minutes next time! Funny hams

My boyfriend has got a new job with more money, so to celebrate we ordered Teddy a new bigger cage, and a flying saucer. He had a bigger cage before, but he was so shy, and never came out of his house, so when Rosie came along she had the bigger cage and Teddy went back into a smaller cage, now he is so much more active and has more confidence we thought he would love a bigger cage again.
Also ordered Rosie a bigger ball.

Yay I love getting a haul of stuff Lucky hamsters

My hamster has those cubes with the hazelnut in them too. She's not interested in the cubes normally but they give her something to do if you put food in them, she also loves the hazelnuts, even though she's never eaten them she keeps carrying them around and stashing them, maaaybe giving the shell a tiny nibble on occasion...whatever makes her happy I guess

We got a delivery of 2 x 35 litres of AllSpan for Stitch and a new playpen for her to run around in because she doesn't like her exercise ball

I can't wait for Phoebe's wodent wheel to arrive. I love Bolt's one, and will be so much happier when I know she has a safe suitable wheel like the others do

Will take some snaps when it all arrives and her cage is looking lovely and full
