Default Angel my new rescue

Im going to pick her up at lunch time Very excited hehe.

The ladies house where im getting her from is only 15 mins away which is quite handy! Shes in a house with young kids at the min so she should find it a lot different here and very quiet haha.

Im not sure how Lolas going to feel with a new next door neighbour. Shes already in a mood because i went to bed last with a huge headache and didnt have her in her ball first. i woke up to a trashed cage Now shes gona wake up with more competition for my attention

just getting ready to go pick her up Going to drop her off home, check shes ok then im off shopping. And hopefully early evening she will be up and about and i can start talking to her etc.

If i put her on the shelves with the other hams, will she get freaked out by their smells? would it be best to put her in another room for a couple of days?

With any new hammy it is best to quarentine them away from the others for a few weeks really just in case they have anything they could infect yours with. Be sure to wash hands well etc between handling too.
Looking forward to meeting the little lady. Safe journey

Aww congrats to you. I hope the pick up went well. I am sure the new addition will be so much better with you as her new mum. Looking forward to meeting her.

Well shes here and utterly gorgeous. She does have a hell of a jump on her though. The lady i got her from was lovely.

She was in a tank style cage, not sure which one but its one of the popular ones. Ive moved her into a fop duffy cage with the idea of introducing her to the outside world as such, so she can nosey through the bars. She absolutely loves bars haha. she was climbing up them straight away.

Great to hear she is so nice pinkemily. What is she called? At least the owner seemed to have the best interests of the hammy at heart when seking a new home for her. I'm sure she will settle well.
