Just got back from the vets..:(

Hi Everyone,
I know I dont post here often but I need to be around people who love hammies right now.

Just got back from the vets and our hamster Rogan unfortunately had a stroke and had to be put to sleep.

I am devastated, he was fine last night! He was nearly 3 which is a good age but it was so sudden. I always thought he would go in his sleep.

He did'nt seem to realize he couldnt walk.

I cant stop crying, iv just got home, my husband wont be home 8.30pm so im all lone.

I'm pretty much in the same situation as you right now, my hamster Dexter was 3 last week and he's had a stroke and cant use his back legs so he'll be pts next week
So I know how you must be feeling.

I'm sooo sorry for your loss... I hope your heart heals pretty quickly... =( I know it's hard and harder because we're the one to take the decision... But know he's not suffering anymore... I know they shouldn't die... they should stay with us for ever so we don't suffer and don't have to be separated... Sadly, life isn't like that... =( The pain will go, don't worry... Till then, take time to cry... Sending you hugs and kisses...
