Chocolate Hamsters Update!

I decided to call my hammy family chocolate hamsters as they all have chocolate bar names!
Any way here is a little update =)

Wispa is doing fine after her op to have a cyst out. The vet said numerous times about her being over weight (60g with food in her pouches). She is going through another biting phase at the moment but is starting to learn it's not nice as I tap her nose and say no which kind of works. Sometimes she will just look at me and bite me again though!



Buttons is fine, getting lazier and won't get up till 11pm unless I wake her up now!


Galaxy is a cheeky little girl. I have a great bond with her now and my OH is starting to now too! She gives more cuddles out =)


Twirl is getting there. She will stay out if you talk to her and actually sometimes comes up to the side of the cage near me! However any hands and she freaks. She made a little bed behind her wheel which is adorable =)

Did you know there was a hamstery called Chocolate Hamsters registered with the National Hamster Council? It was a number of years ago and the person no longer breeds or keeps hamsters as far as I know but every time I see that I think of Julie and her Chocolate Hamsters. If you were intending to register that name (which I don't think you are at the moment) I don't think you would get it as it is too soon after the other Chocolate hamstery but you can of course still call your hammie family that yourself

I didn't know about that! =o My boyfriend suggested the name to me as all of my four are named after chocolate. I won't be registering though, don't worry xD
