Re: Buttercup had...babies?! And Hamster baby help!
Well im not sure ive ever been sure about the day they were born. I think they could of been born the night before the 19th but I found them in the afternoon so they could of been born a day after I thought.
Probably about 14 days old. Is it normal to open them on the 15th?

I don't have much experience with hamsters or breeding them but i would say that the fact they haven't opened there eyes doesn't sound good however it could just be the way babies have milestones like they should be walking at a year and my son is a year and a month and not walking yet but as long as they open there eyes soon i imagine it will be fine

Re: Buttercup had...babies?! And Hamster baby help!
Im not sure what eyeless hamsters look like but this is what can happen in mutations which is why most people have to study genetics in them which i know you didn't breed her it was a petshop mistake however you can still get good homes for eyeless hamsters don't know if it really effects them apart from the fact they can't see.
However they could just have sticky eyes which need rubbed with a damp cotton ball to help them open them
Sorry if im scaring you but if they don't open their eyes i would take them down to the vets and see what they think

The average is about 14-16 days, and since you don't know exactly which day they were born on, they seem on track
