Default Sat watching no-name the robo :)

She (still not certain about that) is scampering around, diving in and out of her hidey places, and seems to be enjoying her millet spray!

I just took the top off the mini duna so I could put some more bedding under the shelf for digging, and whenever my hand went near her she was terrified, poor thing

How much longer do robo's take to tame? Ponyo was never too fussed about my hand, still isn't, even though she doesn't much like being on it she will sniff it no problem.

Er... It all depends on the robo. Muffin was fine with our hands from the start and wasn't afraid at all (now she's upset because she's lost her Whizz and everything is big and scary now), whereas our other two were rescues and took absolutely ages (Whizz will never be ok with hands if she doesn't know they aren't going after her).
In Skip's case about 5 months I think, in Whizz's case... 5 months and we were allowed to put food in her bowl without scaring her some nights. Now on 8 months and we're allowed to feed her and to get her out via her ball or a jar if she's feeling brave (if she's not feeling brave it can take 15+ minutes). But those two were rescues with bad pasts and shouldn't be used to judge robos in general.

I'd just try and be patient and see how long it takes. I know its not ideal to wait indefinetly but with robos theres never any confident time limit really.

Robos do normally take longer to tame. It does take patience.
They are really skittish and fast. But slowly She will get there. Try talking to her and just placing your hand in her cage

I've had Winter since October and she still isn't happy with being held but she will sniff me and run over my hand. I got her to that stage by putting her in an almost empty cage and just sitting with my hand in there having a chat with her XD.

wurzel was pretty hand tame streight away, he was pet shop so it wasnt due to prior handling, he has speed boosts, but he seems really settled on my hands, and only seemed a little nervy after i scruffed to make sure it was a he.

he wont let me just pick him up, i have to encourage him into a tube or wheel, then get him from there but once he is on my hand he is fine

maybe try tempting her over with some nice mealworms on your hand, wurzel loves these and millet too
i hope she tames up to be a lovely girl

At the minute I'm trying to let her know that when I go in to change her food my hand is the nice big food bringer, haha. And I popped a yoghurt drop in before for her.

This is your best approach, my shyest robo who is the shyest I've ever had can just about cope with taking food from me, not every day though noooooo, sometimes he has to wait for Whizzbit to get it then nuzzle round Whizz's mouth like a baby till Whizz gives him a bit.

Rolo is always going to be shy, your robo may or may not be, just do your best, take it slowly, and she will hopefully come round
