Your ham does not look to fat from the back..her...umm.backside is about the same width as my Gizmos'.
I would invest in a bigger house though...the one you have is fine for skinny males but as with most females they do need something wider..

Aww she is adorable. You can tell she is sable as she has the cream rings around her eyes and if you blow her fur you will see it is creamy coloured at the roots. She will go more browny with age. She looks great. Nice and healthy. We too take the house roof off and put some shavings in it and they like to sit in the little space Put a pile of bedding under the shelf and she will nest there.

Yes, youre right about the cream roots, so shes sable then, well well well, you learn something new every day. Thanks

Shes already decided to make her bed under the shelf with but also toilets and hides her food there too, will have to think about litter training when shes settled... mind you I have put a litter tray in the opposite corner and put some soiled paper and dropping in there... she went and explored and seemed non too pleased, then peed in her nice clean bed!

With a figure like that you could call her Marilyn Monroe and get away with it. For gods sake don't let her near any male hamsters....

No chance of her getting with male lol.

She's actually slimmed down quite a bit since I've had her. I dont think her, or her sister (a friend has her sister) had been getting any exercise. I get Luna out of the cage for a good couple of hours in the evening and she is looking much more hamster shaped and moving so much better, not waddled around... I even saw her hanging from the top of the gabber yesterday!!!
