As Spud's Mum mentioned in the Rotherham post, and as we mentioned earlier, we have got some new hammies!!!!!! They are Dwarf Winter Whites (my first Dwarfies!!) and they are called Kipton (pearl) and Bingley (sapphire)! They were born on 27th July and are real little characters. They love their Gabber Rex and settled in fine. It is really funny watching them rolling over in their potty and running on their wheel. I never realised how fast the Dwarfies can go!
They are both going to be show hamsters, and we hope they will do well as their dad got Reserve Best in Show at Rotherham. They are a little jumpy as they are only little, but allow us to handle them. Kipton weighed 30g and Bingley 31g when we got them, but they now weigh 31g and 34g.
Some of you may remember Spud, our school hamster, who sadly passed away in July. My biology teacher decided that she would like a new school hamster, so we would also like to welcome a little normal marbled Winter White who was known to us as 'Skooli'!
He does not have a proper name yet, but we call him Pringle
! He was born on 24th July He has now moved into school and has settled into his new cage. He is pretty tame already!
