I don't think a week is too bad considering how small he'll be and that he'll have a big cage for the rest of his life. Then again, I just like to encourage hammy buying!

Re: Max
Haha!! I have to agree - one week wont hurt, but I am a very bad influence!
The adoption story sounds really lovely, not preachy at all. I have adopted 2 hammies frm the adoption centre at p@h and have never been asked to do a story I would quite liked to have one for them!

Re: Max
Tell me about it!
Boz was labelled as a bully, and fighter, and a right little so n so, that would bite and generally be a pain!
But look at him! He is such a cute little fluff ball - likes a nip every now and then, granted, but not as dramatic as they made out!

Re: Max
I'm really glad you all said that about a week not being too bad. As I may have just brought him home in the last half hour. :P
It really isn't any smaller than the pen he was in with one other Syrian, but I still hate having him in it and he will be upgraded very very soon. I'm gonna have a look round the flat for a plastic box I can make a temporary cage in even so. He's so cute!

LOL, will do shortly, am letting him settle in so no photos just yet.
Sadly I don't have a long enough wall for a detlof. He's having one of these:

Re: Max
Well done I'm various shades of green from envy at the moment about that vivarium!
