You could try the baby-wanting/knife-wielding technique... :P

Hehe, if he's determined she's his, you could insist that he does his share in cage-changing. He can't just have all the fun play time :P With fun comes responsibility.

He is lovely, and an enabler..
My boyfriend said no more hamsters after alfie...now we have sesame too >.<
I think he's as soft as I am inside.

That's cute Starlight...quite cheeky of him though
Bet he likes cuddles etc, but doesn't clean her out.?

My husband whilst not into my hammies does not mind. When I first met him he had a rat Fink (her name) & she was lovely. He had had two before her also. He has no argument anyway as he always wanted a collie dog & we now have three! Sam our first passed away April 2008.
His only complaint is that he can't move in the bedroom for hamsters! And on an evening when I take turns getting them out for playtime they have the run of the bathroom & landing. Not forgetting our sons 5!

I will have hamsters until I am an old lady now, just can't imagine my life without the cute little critters.

Hehe aw that's cute! That's lots of folks for you to look after, 3 hammies, an infant and your hubby :P

Yes, I think I'd find it hard to not have a hamster now. But I think that will change once I have a cat, firstly because they don't mix. I have, at one time, had a hamster (mine), a cat (my friend's) and a dog (my parents') in this 2 bedroom flat (plus kitchen, living room, bathroom and hall). Had the hamster in one bedroom, the cat in the other and the dog in the living room. Hehe. I wouldn't want to have to juggle that again. I would give the cat run of the house (when I get one) and would hate to shun the hamster to a room where the cat's not allowed.
