Default lumps in megazorb

I got a 85l bag of megazorb, and when I was putting it in the cage I noticed it had big lumps of...well, it looked like clumps of sawdust but felt almost spongey, like...it was very stuck together?
I've bought a small container of megazorb before....and it didn't have any of these lumps..

I love megazorb as a bedding, I think it is lovely and soft...even if it does smell weirdly sweet... but I didn't expect these, I picked them out, and it's a bit of hassle but it's fine, I was just wondering whether this was something to expect from future bags? or did I just get a bad batch?
has anybody else had this?

I have these too in my Megazorb bag.

I'm not really a big fan of it, as I know everyone says it smells nice and helps to get rid of the smell of the wee but with our hams it really hasn't helped, and I'm quite disappointed

I haven't experienced clumps like these but you do get the occassionaly bag that is just a bit odd.
I still love megazorb and it works perfectly for me!
But i do enjoy trying out different beddings and currently i'm using Aubiose which i reccommend you try if megazorb isn't for you.
Its very similar to shavings, but i prefer the smell and texture. Its cheaper than most shavings too (£8 for an even bag bigger than megazorb)

I've been using megazorb for over 2 years now and just the other day I had a large clump of mud in the bag! I've never experienced it before so prehaps it's just a one off but I have no idea how it got there. :/

Ah, okie I'm fine if it's in every bag/more than one. I was just worried that it could mean there was extra dust or whatever in my bag, or it hadn't been properly removed of dust or whatever,
the last lot of it I got was from a rat shop, in a 10l bucket, works out really expensive, but it didn't have any of these, and smelt less...the bag I have smells VERY sweet...it's odd.
I like it because I know it's safe, I don't mind about the smell...I just want my babies to be ok
And I don't think I could store a bigger bag than 85l O.o
