Well, yesterday (Saturday) we went to an Northern Hamster Club show held at Emley agricultural show and was very pleased with our hamsters! We got 2 firsts, 2 seconds, 2 thirds and 2 fourths! It was a busy show and quite warm, but not too warm for the hams thankfully! I took George, my Giant African Land Snail
and entered him in the pet competition, where he got second! He was even interviewed, but didn't say much! I also took Spud, the school hamster who I am looking after for the holidays. He is an argente Campbells and got a fourth in the hamster club pet section! I was very pleased about this because he doesn't like anyone touching him in his cage and I was worried he would bite the judge
but luckily he didn't! I was also pleased with the winner because she was one of our litter, a lovely cinnamon called, err, Cinnamon!
Here's a few pics of the day!
