I had to look that one up! I've been looking for an organic hamster mix for ages and I didn't think there was one that was a complete food. Did you get it from Zooplus as I found it on there and it does show the analytical bit - I'm not an expert on the amounts of fat, protein etc, but it sounds good. My only concern is that it might need supplementing as it seems to be all vegetables plus sunflower seeds. All of which are good, but I thought they needed cereals as well. I had been wondering about making up my own mix with this Pertwood muesli as a base. I emailed them to check if the fruits had preservative or not and they said all the contents are organic and preservative free.
It does describe the Meister Lampe as a supplementary food, so it does sound like it isn't complete on its own.

It's a difficult one, because something like Harry Hamster is balanced and has everything they need in, including added vitamins, and you can supplement with a bit of fresh veg every day or the odd piece of cheese, which is what I have been doing - but it's not organic and I also would like to feed something nice and healthy on that front!
I know hamsters need a lot of protein as well, so the Meister Lampe one might be a bit low in protein - but you could supplement with mealworms, cheese and the odd bit of cooked chicken or beef I guess. It would be difficult to know what balance they were getting though. I'm a bit anti all the soya and corn that are in the mixes, but the mixes do have a balance of nutrients - providing the hamster eats all of it!
