You basically want to avoid dog treats that contain any of the following: Meat/Bone Meal (Chicken meal is fine - it's the unspecified things that are disgusting and should never be fed), Meat/Animal Derivatives, BHT/BHA, Ethoxyquin (All three are preservatives well known for their ability to cause cancers), Artficial junk (colourants), Garlic/onion, and things alike.

Also, just throwing this out there: Hamsters, after a certain age, become lactose INTOLERANT. So I'm totally baffled as to why so many people on a hamster forum have advised you to feed your hamster a milk product (and a horrendously low quality one at that). For that reason, no, no milk bones are ok. Could you list the ingredients of these bonios?

The bonio ingredients seem to change on every website I look at!

I am sure that everyone knows what is right for their hamster and give them the best things that they can find.
I guess opinions may vary!

Thanks everyone for replying!
