Looks good! What do the hams think? Have they torn them to shreds yet?!

I know what you mean about plants taking so long, I do a lot of gardening & get really impatient!
I'm not at all sure if lemon grass is safe but if it is it's quick to grow, just get some from the supermarket put in water on the windowsill & it usually begins to grow straight away!

I have some hamster seed mix thats just starting to grow at the moment so that should hopefully do until my plants in the garden are sorted.

Lol im sure they would be torn to shreds by now, but there's no ham in there till next saturday lol. Im just enjoying playing with the setup and admiring how neat it all looks until then. No doubt it will be a huge mess once he's home and exploring!

Here it is in the cage. I might move them around a bit, just waiting for my hay to be delivered first.

Ive also bought some red clover seeds, some blue cornflower, some wheat and oat seeds. Im planning on using the empty flower bed i posted a pic of earlier and instead of having plants purely for decoration, they will all be hamster safe so i have a good supply of natural treats ill have the wheat and oat growing at the back, possibly with some lemongrass (need to double check that is safe) then the red clover and blue cornflower mixed together at the front. Ahhh im so excited, i wish plants didnt take so long to grow, it will be next year before it will be any use lol.
That wheat looks good in the pea pods. Was there enough for yoing to try and placou. I am nt some next year at the top of my garden.

Yes, thankyou ian. I were about to pm you to say thanks

Id love a cage with loads of them planted but would that be healthy for a ham? What if they just decided to eat wheat and oats? I wouldnt want them getting a middle aged spread lol
