Hi,

is there a complete list of hamster safe foods on here, anywhere?

I've looked and i thought it would be a sticky but there isn't. I want an indepth one for seeds, nuts, plants etc?

I'm doing my own research and have several lists of my own but im having trouble finding new info now

I think you would need to P.M a mod with the information you have found & state where you have found it

Then it's up to the Mods to include it on the forum or not. Or you could make a thread about what you have found out yourself

I wasn't planning on listing it, i just wanted a list of seeds, nuts and beans which isn't included on the wiki bit?

I'm writing a book almost on plants, herbs, wood, bark, flowers, seeds, natural substrate etc you can use with small rodents. If i don't get it published i'll just make it into a website

The website Ratrations has a lot of different things on their website all safe for Rodents except the usual rules for hams like no onion

Thanks for the link to the German website, very interesting. If we use Google Chrome then we have Google Translate automatically. I already use ratrations which is similarly a good website. Their food apart from Mr Johnsons largely follows the mainly European way of feeding most animals a basic mix to which extras must be added. Nothing wrong with that and will be liked by DIYers.
