I only changed from RR to another mix (well, mix of mixes ) recently, and I think that's the case for a number of other members too

I think some still use it, but I and I think quite a few others have changed away from it over the last few weeks.
I know the last of ours moved off it the day Geiger got diagnosed with her suspected dietary deficiency.

Yep, I get mine from Zooplus. Unfortunately I have to get my HH and SS from elsewhere. I also got a bag of the JR Farm herbs to supplement with too

Re: Help! No ratration mix for hamsters until further notice- any advice what now?
I've just ordered some JR farm for hamsters and dwarf hamsters from Zooplus. I'll see about getting some Burgess when I'm near a pet shop. Found out that Sherlock has started loosing weight too so I'm going to do a mix of various commercial mixes and my left over RR. I'll keep supplementing with fresh foods and extra vits/mins and calcium though as I'd rather give them an extra boost for now

Re: Help! No ratration mix for hamsters until further notice- any advice what now?
Until I joined HC I had never even heard of any of these hamster foods. Nor was I aware that special mixes could be made. I've used the same foods for my hammies for decades. I buy Fiesta Max and Denta Bites and mix them in a great big container. The hammies also get a liquid vitamin supplement along with fresh fruit and vegetables several times a week. Since I've never had a problem with this I see no need to change. My hammies seem perfectly happy.
