Ha, I know that brand because I have recently bought a packet and mixed it in with the current feed I have. Squeak was not impressed, and I think all four hams have left those pellets...which tells me!

I only bought a packet because I was getting desperate at the time because my lot leave so much and there is a heck of a lot of waste. So...back to your mixes Silver and no hammy treats for a week!

Pezpus can't you take out the pea and yellow flakes from Harry hamster and feed the rest to your dwarf? You could keep small amounts separate for your dwarf, or is there sugar still in the rest of the mix?

This is good to know because I'm hoping to get a Chinese and a WW in the future, and although they will be fed on Silvers dwarf basic mix, another mix is good incase I can't get Silvers for some reason

ahhh! i could do that I just take one bag ( im bying 8, bulk I like ^_^) and pluck all of the pea and yellow flakes out and then put the finsihed plucked mix in a container marked "dwarf" or something like that xD You are brilliant! x

My rats would love the ekstra peas, and i bet Lucky would too

Add in a few Mealworms to make up for the protein you will be taking out I.E Corn & Peas.

You may find the dwarfs don't like the big bits in the Harry Hamster mix. If they eat it great, if they are not so keen then go with the two I said

Pezpus is it all insects, larvae and worms because the ones I buy are freeze dried ie dead. I would never even think of live ones...

Dried mealworms, Crickets, Silkworm Pupae, blood worms.

You can feed live but dried is just as good. Mealworms are probably the easiest & loved the most

LOL

Not silly at all, after a while it just becomes part of feeding the hams & you don't think of it as meal worms.
