Re: Natural Foods
Cress is the only 'live plant' in their cages. I give them the usual treats like dried meal worms (they love them. £2 from wilko), puppy milk bones, cucumber, brocolli etc..
I have also started adding buckwheat and porridge oats to their food too as it was recommended.

Re: Natural Foods
I got mine from tesco. Not sure if Asda sells it. It's a wholegrain and i found it with all the other health foods.

Re: Natural Foods
Aww sucks. I guess I will just stick with cress and may try mealworms. How many do you give to your hammy?

Re: Natural Foods
Wow you learn something new everyday! Belle is 8weeks old so is she too young for cress? Also I'm trying to work out how the hamster wouldn't eat the compost?

Would you eat dirt? A ham won't eat the compost, they might get a bit dirty from it if they start digging in it but thats nothing to worry about
She should be fine having some
