Re: Banana and oat-gets the paws up from Hammy :0)
Can`t get to the shops until tomorrow now as I had to have a hair trim this morning (last minute cancellation) and then had to wash down some patio chairs! Definately going tomorrow though as I also need a Royal Gala apple as my syrian likes this variety. My robo Rocky only gets very small amounts but he enjoys them. Havn`t tried him with the banana & oaty treat yet but he does get a little dried banana as a treat.

My hamsters LOVE this dish. I tend to put boiling water into the porridge and mush it up a bit and let it cool, then mash in the banana. They clean the plate with this.

I keep meaning to try this, but since Darla wasn't convinced when I tried out banana on him, I'm not sure it'd be a hit

Re: Banana and oat-gets the paws up from Hammy :0)
a favourite with my boys is.... when i'm boiling my veggies for the evening i use a little of the water after to mix with porridge oats.... they get the vits and minerals from the water, and the porridge tastes like veggies
They also love normal porridge with a small amount of grated carrot, and one grated flake of cheese mixed into it, then i split this between the two of them
