Re: Harry Hamster v Burgess Supahamster Harvest
Burgess was on offer in my local pet shop this week so I took the opportunity to give it a go. So far, it seems to be going down well. I've been mixing a bit in with Cookies Harry Hamster and she seems to be enjoying it.
I'm impressed with the variety in the Burgess and it actually looks nicer than Harry. Cookies a very picky eater but with the Burgess she seems to be varying what she eats a bit which is very pleasing.

Re: Harry Hamster v Burgess Supahamster Harvest
i now use a mix of HH and BSH for mimi (as the base for her food) and just the BSH (not the dwarf version as i think its rubbish) as the base for the dwarfs, they love it

Re: Harry Hamster v Burgess Supahamster Harvest
So pleased that all your hammies are enjoying the Burgess Hamster Harvest guys. I get the 750g bag for £2.25p from my local pet supplier when I need it. I still use Harry Hamster for my syrian purely because he was always fed on this before he came to live with me and he does enjoy the larger biscuits in this mix, but having looked at the hamster mixes available, I found that the Burgess Supahamster Harvest has the better ingredients. Most hamster mixes seem to concentrate on corn/maize. alfalfa, peanuts and pumpkin seeds and not enough grains. So mixing both adds variety and I can still pick out the banana and corn/maize from the HH for my chinese hamster because I add other things to the mix, so she does`nt lose out by me taking these out.

Re: Harry Hamster v Burgess Supahamster Harvest
I`m sure they will like it Kristin. This mix also contains poultry meal extruded biscuits, so good protein, aswell as some mealworms.
