I just hope he hasn't moved out again now because I disturbed it by lifting the roof off. I noticed a pile of old substrate with poops in next to his old burrow this morning - they look like poppy seeds  So seems he has been cleaning out his old burrow.

So Nugget is awol. Ever since he moved into the labyrinth house He likes it too much maybe! I know he's still in there because he stuffed up the top entrance hole from inside with paper bedding. His veg is gone every day so I know he's ok. He's probably also getting over the outrageous intrusion into his cage. I'm glad he's using the house though as he's always ignored houses before. Probably because it's dark inside and lots of places to go.

I assume the cleaning out of the old burrow was to transport nest and hoard to the new house maybe. And of course clean before he moved out

Aww that has melted my heart, Nugget amazed at his labyrinth and awol. Take it as a major compliment Serendipity that your little boy so loves his new house and that you're forgiven for the intrusion. It's the little things they do like that, that tells you they're happy! They might not be able to tell you but so clever at expressing it with their actions.

Thank you both. I really want to see if he's using the toilet in there! But must be patient. I suspect not - he'd probably just play with the sand and kick it out.

Nugget is a hoot with his housekeeping. It is very good news that he loves the house so much. Once he has settled you can risk another intrusion but I think you are right, that a robo pee spot is hard to spot. Still, he will enjoy the sand.

Aww, Nugget just cracks me up with his silly antics and housekeeping skills, lol! He is such the comediham! I'm glad that he is thoroughly enjoying his house. The latest pics of him are just so cute!
