Re: Thinking about robos
That`s true. Having a pair that has colour differences does help, but you would need to find a litter that had various colours in order to achieve this so unless a pet store or a good robo breeder could accommodate that, you may not find those variations, or it might take a bit of searching.

Re: Thinking about robos
Hehe so true, I have most people ask for a husky and a white from my litters, I can always tell my huskies apart, but when you first start keeping then it can take a little getting used to

Re: Thinking about robos
Robos (with eyebrows) always remind me of angry little cavemen!!

Re: Thinking about robos
My 2 robos were absolutely ok with sharing a wheel, bottle and food bowls but that may have just been luck?
However as they got through their teenage months they started to fight and sugar had to get seperated from spice...
Just make sure you have a spare cage or bin they can be put in temporarily like you said
I would imagine it would be stressful to the hamster if you have to seperate them but itll just take some getting used to

Re: Thinking about robos
There are rarely squabbles as youngsters, they'll happily share. It's as they go through the teens they start deciding to lay claim to things

Re: Thinking about robos
For the sand bath, I wanted to do a portion of the cage all sand (like a third of it) would that work? Or should I just put in two bowls?

Re: Thinking about robos
An area that large will work just as well as two smaller ones. Also, I have a sand pit that big for my Tinker, and he loves it
