Robos in their natural habitat
Sorry if this has been posted before, but thought other robo newbies/wannabes like me might enjoy seeing it - from the BBC programme 'Wild China':

Re: Robos in their natural habitat
It is a lovely video but actually this was staged in the studio. A member of the Hamster Club was asked to provide the robos and they had a vet on hand all the time. They lived there in the habitat for quite a while, even longer than expected because one on the females gave birth to a litter and they had to stay there till they were grown!
It was written about in the NHC journal a few years ago
I do love it and it does look authentic

Re: Robos in their natural habitat
I was wondering how they'd managed to film it!

Re: Robos in their natural habitat
Oh no! All my illusions shattered! Still, is it an accurate representation of their habitat, as that's what I was really after?

Re: Robos in their natural habitat
GUTTED that isn't real! I was so impressed by how healthy they looked for wild hammies, I would assume they would be thinner and more scraggly than tamed ones. But if they were tame after all...*pouts*
