Re: Looky what I made! :-D
That is such a great idea - better start saving Lilly pop sticks!
I have old jewellery chains, could I re-use those?
Also (after washing of course) what could I use to colour them? Would food colouring work May be diluted a bit in water?

I think you can use old chains with no problem as long as they are about the same length. I didn't color the chains at all.

LOL. I got them from Etsy.com. I keep forgetting and thinking it was from eBay, but, no. I checked and i got it from Esty.com and they are from all over the world. Just type in "jewelry chain" and choices will pop up.

Re: Looky what I made! :-D
You can make chains from linked small paperclips. I just got a packet of multi coloured ones to make chains for a little swing I made inspired by the "Hammy Glider". But my swing is just a flat surface made of 6 popsicle sticks glued onto a plywood base with little screw eyes at each corner. It is shown in the photos on my first bin thread, but there it is temporarily hanging on string until I worked out the right length.
