I’ve had a blue one of these for several years and thought they had been discontinued. My rescue Syrian lives in it. I bumped in to a lady at a recent hamster show who had carried it in to enter her pets in the pets class. She told me that they are still available online so I ordered another 2 which have just arrived!
Although I intensely dislike cages with coloured bases which are non see through this cage is a really good cage and I much prefer it to a zoozone 1 I have. The lid doesn’t need wiring and it is as big as a zoozone 1.
Here is the original version of the duna multy with the see through base. It is so old I no longer remember the cage’s name. This is a very old cage that I’ve had many years. Incidentally this is an old photo and I don’t use the metal shelf anymore since a Winter White got his foot stuck in it. Luckily I was in the room when he got his foot stuck and freed him.
The clear based original duna multy was called the Ferplast Galaxy. They appear on ebay from time to time, I got lucky with one, and put self adhesive lino on the shelf. The bridge mine came with, was a plastic version which is far better for hammy feet. They also made a blue based version of the Galaxy, which I would love to get hold of, as when I first saw it in pets at home over 10-years ago, my parents didn't have £60 odd to spend on a hamster cage so I didn't get one, and I have never seen one anywhere else since.

I don`t know what goes through the heads of these makers, it must be "Lets make crappy wee cages and make more profit from them"....

Why do they tease us with these cages and then stop producing them? It`s not as if they don`t sell!!! Silver, you keep on kicking where it`s required!

I will RH

I explained this time that small pet owners want to see their pet clearly. Tanks are too heavy & not safe with young people who have small pets. A lovely clear plastic base & top is idea & they would make a huge amount of money

I will say similar again next month

WHAT?! How much? Wow thats expensive.

I was just about to say thanks for the lovely review, I'm thinking about getting on of these as a spare cage.
We also found these in our wholesaler catalogue at work, and we're going to start ordering them and putting them on the shelf. In the past we've had trouble getting them in, but my work mate ordered one for his mouse the other week and it came in fine.
We sell them at £42.99, but I get discount so I would only pay £34.39.

Munchalot if your work gets them in & delivers them for a decent cost your boss could make a lot of money
