You need to post pictures of these cages or links to them linford so people can see what they are like.
I have seen this cage and to me it is not big enough for a syrian. I know someone who keeps a Campbell in one and that is fine. The house, tubes and wheel are all too small for a grown syrian

Pico Hamster Home by Coopet | Pets at Home

It's 50x36x33.5cm (LxWxH), I'd be looking for something 80x50 or more for a Syrian ideally. Height isn't that important and too much of it can be dangerous, but to fit an 11" wheel in, you generally need 36cm minimum. I'd lay bets the wheel included with the cage isn't the 8" minimum, and the lack of ventilation in the top section of the cage would worry me.

No, i'd say too small, 70cm absoloute minimum but 80, or even higher would be way better!

No DO NOT GET THIS CAGE!!

I got this cage for my hamster and i wish i hadnt. The cage was tiny, it was a squeeze for her to get through the tunnel, and she was tiny when we got her, and the house is terrible. Everytime she would come out she was soaking. Infact i think i actually msged souffle asking about that !!

When i joined this site i asked the same question and everyone said it was too small so within 24hours millie had a new cage ordered and is now in a savic cambridge and she loves it.

please please dont get that cage!

p.s its good to know that its fine for dwarfes am away to pester the bf now ha

Time for a nerd out . The clue is in the name really.. "pico" is an SI prefix that means 10^12. That is, 10 to the power of minus 12. It's basically a tiny, tiny number (ie. 0.0000000000001 - if I got the right amount of decimal places ). It's smaller than nano.

They have pretty much called the cage "Really, really, unbelievably, really small cage".

And reading the reviews, it sounds pretty shabby. After reading those, i'm not sure I'd even say a dwarfie should have it, it sounds quite poor quality.
