Good luck with your uni essays!!!! I am hoping that if the mirapexin works, I might just be well enough to either start working again or go to uni, I really want to do a degree in biology and animal behaviour.

It has been hard..i did my first year, started 2nd n got really ill..went down to 4stone...took 2 years out and only came back this sept..it is really hard, id never heard of it but seems lots of people who look 'normal' have lots n just hide it well..my bf laughs because he has 'sussed' my pain hiding, my toes twitch when im in pain but tryin to downplay it lol dammit! It was after coming out of hospital that i got my first hammy indy. being at home everyday he kept me company and would just sleep next to me on the pillow (seriously)..its like they know. And i swear my hams know im havin a bad week because they have kept their cages tidy!
I hope the new meds work..i swear ppl can hear me rattle when i walk im so full!
I really wish i was closer to take some of the babies....i have fallen in love with the white ones with patches of black and a little ginger! Anyone want to courier some critters to brum?!
keep us posted and hang on in there, and from a fellow 'diseased' person (lol) im not just saying that xxxxx

Re: Tireesix hamster tribe
hi,
why are people such time wasters, whats the point of calling you making arrangements and not turning up? it baffles me.
wish my hubby would allow us to have more hamsters, i'd be round in a shot to get a couple of your other litter! (he says 4 kids, 4 hamsters and a dog is enough. i say he's a spoil sport!)
have you tried advertising on freeads Freeads.co.uk - Classified ads, place Free Ads
or adtrader Ad Trader classifieds, Free local classified ads with images - 894,497 ads online now. this goes on the web and in paper just state you private advertiser think its free then.
i have seen people advertising in the express and echo and herald express which you can do online, and i tend to see smaller animals in the pet accessories section i assume as it is free to advertise in this section, then you get a week on line and 3 days in the local paper. (i know this as i'm always selling on my bits and bobs this way)
take care

Re: Tireesix hamster tribe
I have one, possibly 2 going.
I have decided to let Ash/Granite go. He is gorgeous but I can't keep every hamster and I always wanted one of Houdinis babes and she has got 3 absolutely beautiful babes. I can't quite tell the colour yet, looks like they are going to be red eyed, they are banded and it looks like a tan type colour. I can't wait to show you.
So, a boy is coming to pick up Ash with his mum for his 6th birthday (I wouldn't have let Ash go with any one else I don't think, kinda special!), they are coming all the way from Dorset for him.
I have someone potentially interested in one of my sooty goldens.
Still got loads left so if ANYONE wants one, you know where to find me, I will update photos later!
Here is one of the golden, I kinda wanted her but if this other person will take her, then I will let her go!
I am a bit better, been on the Mirapexin since friday, side effects not to bad at present (feeling quite quesy and its getting worse with each mirapexin tablet I take, the dose will be increasing friday as well) but I will be asking to up the Oxycodone tomorrow. I am sooooooo tired. Have no idea why I am telling you guys this, it probably has something to do with how isolating fibro can be (have zero friends lol).............
So yeah......... If you want a hamster or know someone who does, I'm your girl!

Re: Tireesix hamster tribe
I'll ship them to ya (tee hee hee).
Much better mood today.
Hamsters are doing good, Houdinis babes are GORGEOUS. Really, I can't wait to show you the three in particular, I am definitely having one now that I have given up Ash.
Going to keep advertising, I might just have room for them all anyway and I do have the odd offer now and again. A lot of people are asking for easy to handle hamsters, well, they are babies, I dunno, they need a bit of time to settle down with new folks. So I am thinking, maybe if they are a bit older, people will be a bit more comfortable with them because settle a bit more as they age.
We have some spare cages so housing shouldn't be too much of an issue.
I just love my hamsters!!!!!!!!!!!
