I am so sorry about the bodillas pup that couldn't make it, but it's very heartwarming to watch the rest. You must be really thrilled with all that hammyboom

Re: Chinesey Pupdate
And finally, here are the Kelipteps I litter at 4 weeks old:
Kelipteps by Vectis Hamstery, on Flickr
There are 2 girls and 1 boy and they're a nice size compared to their parents. They've been edged out of the nest most of the time so I was able to remove them and split them today. The poor Kelipteps II look very small for nearly 2 weeks old despite the extra supplements. There do look to be more of them than in either of the other 2 litters though. Hopefully taking these piggies out will help them grow. The Ptraptep litter are 3 weeks old and are in the 'baby nest' more often. They're a little smaller than I'd like so I didn't want to risk removing them early.
The two Mums are very caring and looking in good condition. They're getting the normal hamster mix and extras for litters and also some EMP mixed with robin food sprinkled near the nest. I haven't needed to use that in a while.
In my last update I forgot to mention my sad news in all the excitement about my pups. You may recall Ridcully and Scrappy were paired at the same time as all the mums who have had litters. Ridcully never had any signs of pregnancy and last week developed a nasty respiratory infection. Despite oral antibiotics and injections of antibiotics and steroids she died. Scrappy had been very attentive to her in her illness, bless him. He's well so when he's finished his quarantine I'll pop him back in the hamster room and maybe find him another mate one day.

Re: Chinesey Pupdate
I'm really sorry about Ridcully Vectis, it's so sad she didn't pull through & I do have such a soft spot for Scrappy I'm sad he lost his mate too! Hope you can find him a new friend.
The pups are all little beauties, my heart has totally melted ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Hope all the others continue to thrive.

Re: Chinesey Pupdate
Oh no, I'm sorry for your loss of Ridcully. Hope Scrappy is ok.
That picture of the Kelipteps is too cute. They look like a hamster cheer leading pyramid!

Re: Chinesey Pupdate
Scrappy's doing well
The Ptrapteps have had their eyes open for a wee while but they've been snuggled in with the younger Keliptep litter so I haven't had much chance to handle them. The Keliptep IIs have opened their eyes (all seven of them ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif) ) so I got some good snuggles with them all. There's one boy and one girl. The girl will be staying in with the mums and pups until the littler ones are old enough to split (I find Chinese hammies don't do well if split into singles at 4 weeks old). The boy I'm still thinking of what to do with him. I may try him in with dad or his older half brother so he doesn't get lonely.
