The male is out by his lonesome. He loves his tube though it's admittedly a bit sparse right now but I'll find some toys for him tomorrow!

They're finally way friendlier and I'm super pleased! Their little wee claws are so pointy, my arm is all red but it's totally worth it ^_^

The male escaped 8'D

Our first ever escapee!

We found him in less than 5 minutes and now his bin is the locking kind... hah. I'm glad I was chatting with Biscotti from Moxie Hamstery as I would have never been up this late and checking if I hadn't!

Haha Good ole Yellow hamsters if there is and escape they will find it. Sounds like he is a good candidate for the HRN.

On a serious note I'm very glad you found him safe and sound and was able to return him to a more secure bin the stinker pup.

Yeah! I am too. Thank goodness. He was spider-hamming in his new bin. I'm super glad we got him. I checked under the couch first and then looked behind our bins and bam!

He seemed no worse for wear. So lucky!

:-O Just remember, they don't forget and he'll start looking for ways to get out again. They do finally let it go after a while. You have to give them credit...they are soooo determined! Glad you got him back. It makes your hair stand straight up when you realize somebody's missing, doesn't it, Heckomi?

Yeah, I was panicking and sweating so hard! He hasn't escaped since thank goodness. What a little monkey. I'm glad he wasn't gone long as I was out all yesterday as I was convocating for my master's.

Just one pic update but I have plenty. Took Cady out and she just slept on my hand.
