Luna has just come out for what will most likely be her last little cuddle and playtime for at least a week! She is a VERY social hamster, and has been with since the day she was born, so she does get to come out for very quick cuddles once the pups are a week old.
Here are some pics, you can see she has gotten very large!

What a sleek little Mama! She looks the very picture of a healthy pregnant hammy! Hamsters, all rodents actually, have the fastest gestation of all the mammals...so why is this taking forever???!

Aw thank you DrKMcK! She certainly has that pregnancy "healthy glow" but I know what you mean, these 16 days seem to have taken forever! But, maybe tomorrow morning I'll be informing you all of pups in the nest!
