Luna's Litter update :)

Luna's babies are now 16 days old and have had their eyes open for a couple of days We have 8 healthy babies, and remarkably we have still have little stumpy, who broke his front right leg 4 days ago. The bottom part of the leg died, and fell off by itself. The swelling has reduced dramatically and the stump appears to be healing nicely, so we have decided not to intervene vet wise unless we notice any changes. He is still a lot smaller than the other pups, but is eating well and gets around surprisingly fast for a tripod! So we will see how he gets along

We have 2 golden banded (one who is stumpy), 2 black banded, 2 umbrous goldens and 3 full black pups.

We have started handling the babies and have a few photos

Oh they are just gorgeous! Glad to hear Stumpy is okay so far. Crossing my fingers he pulls through in the long run. He'd make a lovely pet for someone who is patient and loving.

Fantastic, I'm really glad Stumpy has survived (You do realise you've effectively named it already right? lol)
And we do need pics of said stumpy ham, he's clearly the star of the litter now

Haha, yes stumpy is definitely the star! And yes if he does survive and appears to be coping well, he will remain our family pet and stumpy shall be his/her name
