Re: Luna's Litter update :)
Your best bet it to try and keep it local. Put an ad with pics in local newsagents and village notice boards near schools for hand tamed pups. Vet the homes carefully. Sometimes a home can be good even if they provide an 'adequate cage' if the hamster is out a lot and has a lot of cage enrichment and a good sized wheel. By adequate I don't mean a 'starter cage' but not a huge place like a hamster heaven at first.
I've never used a freead site as they can be risky with who you get asking and also being let down.
I hope you get them homed. It is always a worry getting the right home for your babies.

Re: Luna's Litter update :)
Thank you soufflé! I never thought of newsagents and notice boards, will definitely look into that! And yes I understand not everyone can provide these huge cages, but the couple if people I just had to say no to were ridiculous! So small, and a wired ladder, I couldn't let them go to those cages I've currently got someone interested in one of the girls, and I've attached a picture of the cage she has, I've never come across it before, but to me I'm just not sure it's suitable? What do you think?

Re: Luna's Litter update :)
Looks like a crittertrail, and totally unsuitable. Far too tiny for a Syrian, and that vertical tube looks impossible. Such a shame! Really do wish I lived closer too

Re: Luna's Litter update :)
no that cage is evil ! they are the most popular type of cages in the USA and are tiny, barely 30cm long so i would say they need to buy a different cage or attach at least 3 more to it

Yeah, I don't like those cages either. =/ It either needs an expansion or needs to go entirely.

Re: Luna's Litter update :)
Ok then, I did presume it would be unsuitable! I will have a chat with her tonight when he sends me the measurements. I am selling a cage myself which I offered to sell her, but she said her mother in law was buying her the hamster and gave that cage so I don't think she's interested on buying a different one or an add on! I'll see what she says tonight

Re: Luna's Litter update :)
They are all so beautiful.
I agree with others that the crittertrail cage you posted is too small. It's half the size of a mini duna. I've just taken in a little syrian girl from gumtree who was living in that cage and it looked so small for her even though she was only 2 months old and tiny.
Hope you find good homes for them soon. You could suggest bin cages to prospective owners.

She's so gorgeous!!! Oh my gosh I can't wait to get her home <3 I've decided to call her Molly (after Molly Weasley, I'm not obsessed, I'm NOT), so you can call her that
SO excited
