Default Aleksandr and Anastasia

I agreed to rehome a male and female robo from a friend as she didnt want them anymore so i thought better with me than going in to rescue.
They were living together and had done for there previous litters

I had them yestaday and seperated them straight away, i was dreding ana being pregnant but sure enough today i went to try and hold her but was greeted with squeeking and some wrigglers in the nest. poor little girl she has had to many litters already, but i will try to keep her as comfortable as i can and feed her some nice food.

I am going to read up as much as i can as this was not a mating that i carryed out i was not planning to breed them

Good luck with the litter Lisa, Keep mum fed with some pieces of cooked chicken, boiled egg and fresh broccolli in addition to her main food. and try to disturb her as little as possible.

I would advise purchasing some porridge oats and wild bird seed for the pups. mum will start taking this to the nest for them to eat.

I will post some more advice tomorrow.

You'll be fine Lisa, it's not much different to having Syrian pups (except for the size). Robos are a bit slower to be proper "mini hams" than campbells/WW, but you'll still find they're quicker than Syrian babies. Just do as you would for them, but with smaller bits of food as Mick says. I can't think of anything particularly specialised - except obviously that babies don't have to go off singly!

Yestaday i took a picture of the babys when mum was eating some food.

I am a bit calmer now i have got used to the fact that i was an unexpected dwarf breeder.

I am quite excited to see them when they have fur and when i get my first cwtch
