Re: Pingu Escaped!
My Hardy has the same type of colouring as Pingu and he is a little escape artist too! I cannot let my guard down at all or he will find a way to get out or run off....even when playing he is more intent on escaping from his ball than rolling in it, sadly.
He once lived "wild" in my old flat for three weeks....
Glad Pingu is home and that you have remedied the lid issue etc

Re: Pingu Escaped!
Thanks guys!! I am just happy he's safe. He only could have jumped from the ledge (it's 4ft onto bricks) he didn't have any injuries! Thank heavens!!

Re: Pingu Escaped!
Jitters is now missing!! I am devastated! Her cage is two habitraail type cages attached together and I make sure they're always secure... There is no way he could have gotten out. The cage was closed when I went to check... Why do my hammies hate me?

Oh no, I hope you find her.
They don't hate you, probably escaped to go looking for you

Re: Pingu Escaped!
Oh my God! You poor thing. I really hope you find Jitters. My heart goes right into my throat when I hear any HC person say a hammy escaped. I had one hammy missing for 2 1/2 weeks and he returned. The bucket is the best way to trap them, and a live mouse trap is also helpful...but you must check the trap often. My fingers are crossed.

Re: Pingu Escaped!
I found her! Thank heavens! She was down where I thought Pingy was. My cat wouldn't leave the area alone (I was looking for her so the door was open) so I put my tube contraption down and dropped some spitz (her fave) down then heard her at the spits and saw her wiggle into the tube and come out into the little bus thing I attached to it. I have now taped all her doors shut. God I cannot catch a break! ;p

Re: Pingu Escaped!
Gosh the little ones are giving you a hard time, so happy they are safe. Make sure you shut the door of the room/s their cage is in - so if they do escape they are contained within one room. Take care - hugs to little hammies.
