Just been catching up with Blacky's thread. All his new houses looks very cute - he is very lucky to have new things to explore.
Glad you also like most of the other things you bought - that bag of Hemp looks really big - It's a shame your mum wasn't to very pleased on the size of the bag! Hemp is such a good price on zooplus for the size - I wish that hemp didn't affected my asthma and allergies as I really wanted to use it for a natural layout.
My room also looks like that at night with my red lights on, I also too really like having my red lights on at night as I can watch Pumpkin until late, although I have blackout curtains in my bedroom so I don't think my neighbours would notice it when I have them on!
It lovely to see the cardboard tube flower you made for Blacky - it glad that you really like it. It does look really good hanging in his cage. Pumpkin currently have 3 in her cage she has 2 like the one you made for Blacky as well as a larger one made from both a pringle tube and kitchen roll tube.

SKB thanks for your lovely comments. Have you already tried hemp? I'm very allergic (to almost everything, dust, pollen, animals... and I cope ok with hemp). I'm so pleased with the flower!!

Blacky has being very lazy these days and he haven't came out much, even at night (I know because I've been scattering some food around and he didn't eat it, and he usually does it). I even see him fatter. I don't know if it's the hot weather or what.
I have loads of videos and photos from the last week, so I'll be uploading them soon.

Well I'm going to spam several videos. It's been a while since I shared videos of Blacky eating and I remember that you really liked them, so let's share them now.
This is an old one of him eating red pepper, but I think that I've never shared it before, If I did excuse me!
I totally recommend you to try to feed them small seeds, because they have to lick them from your hand and is so cute and sweet! Here you can see Blacky eating sesame seeds
He likes a lot porridge, but he doesn't have it too often because it has too many fibre and it gives me diarrhea, so it's not something that I usually make.
But he hates gammarus, I've been trying for ages to cheat him and make him eat them hiding the gammarus between other food, but he is so smart! He notices the gammarus and spits them. Seriously! Literally he spits them! I thought that it would be fun to show you how much he dislikes them with a little game. I hope you can understand me, but it's easy to see what happens, he doesn't take the gammarus, even if they are mixed with yummy treats (actually he only takes the sunflower seed)
Again, sorry If I had already posted some of the videos but I think that I haven't posted them and they were getting old. I have so many more but this post is too long already! I'll share some more in a few days

It's quite therapeutic watching Blacky eating, it was very sweet when he had his paw on your finger while gently nibbling his pepper Does he eat the skin of the pepper? Pasha loves red pepper but used to always leave the skin, now he eats every last bit lol. He loves his porridge anyway, he was really getting tucked in to that.
I don't blame him for not wanting the gammaru they look pretty yucky. I have a box with mealworms in it when we got Boris and Pasha as they loved them but I used to hate touching them. I'm ok with it now but I don't think I'll bother with any other creepy crawlies lol. I chuckled at him climbing up your sleeve to escape from them lol.

Aww! lovely to see more of Blacky, I enjoy watching him eat & loved the way his little paws were clinging to your finger as he ate the pepper too, he was really enjoying that! And the porridge too, so sweet holding the spoon lol!
I think the gammaru are a bit yukky too Blacky

I find watching Blacky eating adorable! I think he & Harvey have been sharing tips.
Tomato isn't recommended, whenever I'm buying a different type of babyfood, I avoid anything with tomato, garlic and onion.
Blacky did look like he enjoyed it though.

Tomato flesh is fine Lizzy, just as long as it's really ripe, the seeds & skin shouldn't be given though.

Loved the Blacky Videos he does rather love himself doesn't he? Pip when she is out just wants to run about and explore, the darker recess the better for her.
I have also tried Pip on Fresh Coriander and Parsley that I have growing on our kitchen window and she does rather enjoy them both.
Pip has taken to furious digging as well no where is safe in her cage..
