Mocho is doing very well - I make that 88 years old in hamster years! And he is still looking great, too.

EDIT: Looks like Serendipity and I have worked out the hamster years differently. I'd probably trust Serendipity's estimation over mine. 96 is even more impressive

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. My elderly man-ham is in good form. He must have been invigorated by his spell as Sir Mocho Rattle with all the excitement of the concert last weekend. All his new young friends have perked him up.
Meeting Master Harvey and Lizzy was best of all. He is now waiting for the delivery of his share of Sunday Lunch as his nearly birthday treat!
Last night I gave him a new hanging treat. These days I lay them down on the fitch and I have two on the go. The result is he can tackle them more easily and put his paws on it or climb on it if wanted! He sat on the new one with great gusto last night. It is reassuring to know at his age that his teeth are just fine. And of course he is eating and drinking ok. I weighed him mid week and he was 1 gram heavier so that was good news too.

Happy Belated 2 years & 5 months birthday Sir Mocho.
You so suit being a Sir and myself and Master Harvey loved meeting you. Throughout last weekend you sparkled in your outfit, you oozed confidence and once you raised your baton, all eyes were on you. All the hams felt honoured to be lead by you. I know some of the hams mistook your baton for a magic wand but, when you raised the baton magic happened.
These hanging treats so get tackled by hams, very amusing to watch.
Enjoy your special Sunday Lunch treat, you so deserved to be spoilt and waited on.

Thank you so much for your good wishes. They mean a lot.
My letter to you on the previous page here requested a special delivery of Sunday Lunch and I am so excited that it is on its way to me. You are so generous and kind and a wonderful cook. I will feel very spoiled when it arrives.

Dear Sir Mocho,
It's a very special landmark and it's important to celebrate them.
You don't have to give any notice when ordering as you are a VIP.
Master Harvey's very happy with our set up and he's also very pleased
that you put on a gram.
Dinner will be Roast Chicken Breast Joint, it's very succulent and tasty, peas, broccoli and babycorn (all veggies are steamed) and a special side order of melted cathedral cheese on granary toast.
Dinner will arrive at 2.30pm and all dishes will be kept in special packages that keep the dishes warm & fresh. I'm sending it on The Super Sonic Express Jet which is half an hour quicker than the express jet.
Only the best for you.
P.S. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the photo exhibition of all the hams who've gone to the rainbow bridge, it was very emotional and I did notice a lot of the guests dabbing their eyes.

Happy belated 2.5 years birthday, Sir Mocho! It was truly a greatest honor to meet you during last weekend. You truly are an exceptional gentleham and are adored by all of your loyal and loving fans. I'm so pleased that you gained some weight due to Master Chef Thin Lizzy's magnificent gourmet cooking, and you are enjoying your scrumptious hanging treats, too. You always deserve the absolute best in all things yummy for your tummy and tons of extreme pampering, too. My mum sends you tons of cuddles, and Snickers and I send you infinite whisker kisses to you, too. We love you, Sir Mocho!!!!

Aww bless Mocho with his new treats, he's lucky to have such a thoughtful Mum laying them down like that so he can still climb on them

Great news that he's in such good form Coco & the express care parcels must be doing him good if he's gained a gram!

There are various different calculations around. I first saw 40 hamster years for 1 human year, so always went with that one as it's easy to work out lol. But maybe it is slightly less than 40.
