I'm so very sorry Coco, such a very special little man it must be very hard to see him go to the bridge, even when it's expected we can never really be prepared & my heart goes out to you now.
He had such a wonderful life & the best care he could possibly have wanted, he must have been a very happy man & stayed with his special Mum for as long as he could.

Your flight of fantasy is just so lovely, the perfect passing to the bridge for the wonderful Sir Mocho.

Oh, NO!! Although I also realized that your darling Sir Mocho was deteriorating, it was such heartbreaking and shocking news to hear of his tragic passing to the bridge. Tears are constantly rolling down my cheeks as I am writing this to you; I can hardly see through my tears. As I was holding Snickers at the time, she began to whimper at the sad news and Eros placed her tiny paw on the bin, lowered her head in sadness, and ran to her burrow to mourn the loss of her dearly departed hamfriend and mentor. The amazing Sir Mocho was so full of character and love, and he certainly was a brave, little warrior who put up the good fight to stay with his beloved mum. Bless him. I am so overwhelmingly grief-stricken for you, Coco. You did everything humanly possible for him, and your truly wonderful bond was so touching. I do believe that he is now surrounded by so many of his hammy friends at the Rainbow Bridge and know that he was serenaded by the EHO as Eros was quite busy playing her music last night and into the morning. She and the rest of the EHO must have wanted to be sure to serenade their beloved friend and show their love and appreciation for one remarkable and inspirational ham. Believe in the fantasy and the love that everyone has for this sweetheart because miracles truly do happen and Sir Mocho was most definitely deserving of lots of them. RIP, gentleham and know that you will be terribly missed but will live on in all of our hearts. Please send a sign to your mum that you are now at peace and having fun with hamfriends up there; she misses you so. Coco, please know that I am sending you my deepest condolences, all my love, and tons and tons of hugs. We are all here for you and want to help you through this very sad, emotional time. My heart goes out to you and your are most definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself, Coco! Lots and lots of hugs! xxxx

Thank you Lizzy, cypher, Serendipity and dreamtree. The departure of one of our beloved furry friends is a time of real grief. So small yet they burrow into our hearts and stay there.
You are all far away and yet your thoughtful words bring real comfort as if you were all nearby.

Although we have only known each other for a few months through HC, I consider you a dear friend and am here for you during your time of sorrow and always. We may be continents apart, but hugs know no distance. Take care and consider yourself hugged. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Coco.

I've posted in Mocho's memorial thread but wanted to leave a word here on his thread where I first met Mocho.

Mocho was a wonderful ham and will be missed by us all at HC. Your flight of fancy is just perfect and a very fitting way to celebrate him.

I'm sending you hugs Coco and I'm sure Mocho will be smiling at his wonderful mum and thankful for everything you did for him and all the love you gave him.

They'll always be that strong forever link with myself and Mocho, the love he & Twinkle shared and that special friendship with himself and Master Harvey.
A lot of tears were cried yesterday, hearing that Mocho had gone to the rainbow bridge and when I turned towards Master Harvey's cage he was sitting on his cube looking at me and he clung on to my top tightly and we sat on the sofa with me gently stroking him.
He always knows when his mom is upset.

Tons of tears were wept yesterday and today as we honor the life of the most cherished Sir Mocho. It is so hard to believe that he is actually gone as there certainly is a terrible sense of loss and emptiness that is felt by all of us who loved him. I am just grateful to have known him through you Coco and be inspired by the touching and loving bond that you shared. Darling Sir Mocho will forever live on in our heart as well because he was a truly unique and unforgettable ham. Eros feels my sadness and misses her special friend, too. She was out for much of the day yesterday and wanted to be sure to give me extra cuddles to comfort. When I told her I wish that we could do something more to help ease your pain, Coco, she climbed onto my computer keyboard, reached out to to touch the screen with her tiny paw, and gave it many whisker kisses. She also gently placed an extra large mealworm (her absolute favorite treat) there for her hampal Sir Mocho so he could have an extra special treat from her at the Rainbow Bridge. Eros, as well as myself and Snickers, just wanted to let you and Sir Mocho know that we are sending our love. We are here for you always. Take care, Coco. xxx
